Part of Acrey's America Collection. On the morning of 9/11/2001 the artist was packing for a painting retreat vacation when she got a call from her son who told her to stop and to turn on the TV. All of America stood still in shock. Acrey delayed her trip for a day until she knew it was safe to travel, then drove on to her destination where she created her "America" collection, pouring her emotions into the pieces.
