Ground Zero-American Determination #0329

Part of Acrey's Ground Zero Collection. On the morning of 9/11/2001 the artist was packing for a painting retreat vacation when she got a call from her son who told her to stop and to turn on the TV. All of America stood still in shock. Acrey delayed her trip for a day until she knew it was safe to travel, then drove on to her destination where she created her "America" collection, followed by her "Ground Zero" collection. This image of the devastation of the workers at ground zero, cleaning up the afternmath.
